Mummel Gulf National Park is located west of Port Macquarie and has its own little 4wd track. Mummel Forest Road and other roads in the surrounding state forest areas are accessible to 4WD vehicles and The Panhandle Fire Trail is a short 9.5 km 4x4 trail located within the park (a must!).
