hi guys

brother and i trying to discuss few issues here regarding my so called 60 series landcruiser, rego papers say fj62(start of engine number) and has the 3f petrol carby motor 4.0L...

since this is my first landcruiser(in the 60 series), i was looking at specs n so forth, and all pics and all specs dont meet up right, the fj62 has twin lights on frint while mine has single round, and some have indicators on front guards and some dont, mine doesnt, also whats the go woth some having barn doors???? what series is that??

ALL help would be helpful, im just trying to identify each seperate series and how, and why some indicators on front guards or not, and why a few with barn doors....

so is mine a 60 or a 62?? if u need to know anything else to figure this out please let me know, you can see pics of it on this site, eithe ron profile or in my 4wd section on the site....

thanks heaps guys

series ones like mine have the round lights, series two have the twin style square lights.
HJ60 (4h diesel motor), HJ61 (12HT Turbo Diesel Motor), FJ = petrol = HJ = diesel.
HJ62 I haven't looked up yet but assuming has the updated diesel engine (think I have read not as reliable but this is my first fourby so don't quote me !!!)

forgot to mention that the base models have the barn doors wheras the up-spec models (Deluxe, Sahara etc) have the split tailgate
