Default GIC Camper trailers

Hello All,

I am looking a camper trailers and have found one that has peek my interest but can't seem to find any feed back on it.

Looking at the Extreme Off road Model. Can you one help with some input?

Not sure but I think they had a display at the Melbourne 4X4 show?

Thanking you all in advance.

Had a look at them @ Sydney caravan and camping show, cheaper end of the camper market and from what I remember Australian made.
Tent was a good design with what should be a fast setup, seemed to lack finishing touches like dust/water seals and no battery systems offered as option.
Built in Sydney at Regents Park, may have on retailers in other states?

As for set up one person can set it up in approx 5-10 mins for the basic set up & up to 30 mins with setting up the extra annex & awning

the basic set up sleeping are on trailer sleeps 2 adults very comfortably main tent part can sleep approx 4-5 adults & with the extra annex you can get another 6 adults in there including luggage
bringing the total sleep count up to approx 12 ppl
when the basic set up is in use the length of the main tent is about the same length as a LWB GQ Patrol & with the annex & awning it's nearly as wide as 3 Patrols side by side

the tent it self is very weather proof
mine hasn't leaked
the dust storm we had a few weeks ago was a good test as I put it up the day b4 the storm & not one bit of dust got inside the tent
however the main trailer needs some wether/water/dust seals put on it as does the alloy tool box
the water tank is sealed fine as is the tap for the kitchen.

put mine up yesterday, as yours it had no leaks but will wet it down a few times as recomended

took 30-40 mins to fully put up next time with 2 people id say 20mins

i sealed the rear door with waterpoof foam sealer and the edges with black sikaflex
bought a self inflating queen mattress as well

did you strugle with the inner poles of the main tent?
I did the 1st time erecting it
took me 20mins the 1st time(fumbling with the dang poles)
2nd time I knew what I was doing & only took myself 15 mins
then on my 3rd time it took me 10 mins max for the basic setup
once you know what you're doing you'll be able to get it set up quicker

I'm yet to do the seals on mine was thinking of geting some rubber car door seals from Clark Rubber(they sell it by the meter) & sikaflexing them around the trailer door & the tool box openings that way they will have a better seal especially when driving through water with the C/T in tow

By the way where did you put your rego sticker tag?
I just zip tied mine to the numberplate

will go to bias boating tomorrow and pick a holder up they like 5 dollars and will just use one of the number plate screws

when pulling it out i jump inside the tent and put the poles in place this made it a lot quicker
if the doors open it helps too as you get a suction effect if everythings closed up
