Smile Whats the best diff for 4wd on and off road

hi there i got a 89' hilux ln106 i need help with choosing a diff or two?

Need some more info there mate... ie; petrol/diesel, what size wheels, auto/manual etc...

Concur with Gippssurfer, if it is only for towing then you can get away with just the rear, but if it is for bush work then you have got to have the two of them the same, Toyota since the 60 series decided tomake the front diff a lighter one almost a hilux diff, one of our crew who has a 90 series went through two before he found out that a guy north of the city was putting 60 series front ends on the 90's and doing a roaring trade, even on their latest , they are sticking with this odd concept, the old sixty series were bomb proof.

If you you are a serous offroader, enquire about lockers while you are about it, the hilux is a reasonably good vehicle in the scrub although it does need a bit of weight over the rear axles especially the utes ( nothing like a few bags of cement or get your missus to pack the car )

hey gippsSurfer whats your name/ age. not trying anything suss. I used to live in morwell as a kid, wondering if I might know you. my parents used to run the HOT SPOT.
