going to have a go a fixing up a box that doesnt stay in L4, I am no mechanic (plumber )but keen to have a go ,other than the book says ,what will I bee looking for .

how'd you go with the rebuild & did you find what the prblem was as mine is doing the same thing by the sounds of it
I found it all to hard to tell the truth ,mind you stripping the box let me carry it out of the shed in bits that was much better trying to lift alone onto the trailer ,and that was my practice box the problem box is still going alright just 1000km trip and 5 th was a little issue but I drive around those problems . so its going out along with a cracked block 2h and in is place hopefully (well they are on the shed floor )a replacement motor and a box with crawler gears only hope the syncros are alright .means I might be able to sell of 1 of the turbo s and manifold to recoup some coin
