Your not wrong Gilly they would never want to go home if they saw this type of country. There's a fair chance this might be the Vics next location for their meet & Greet in November. Here's some more pics. The first five were taken between Huggetts Crossing and the Pinnicles, The 8th pic is of Harrisons Gap it was man made to divert the river. The last two are of Billy Goats Bluff track.

Did you ACTUALLY see anything from the Pinnicle or was it fogged in?
I made that same joke to my mate in a D1 on the weekend. We were up that way too!
Were you guys in Dargo on Sunday? I saw a heap of trucks there and said that it was a pretty popular place.
We rolled through about 1.00pm on Sunday and the D1 filled up with diesel. No need for the 'cruiser, I'd only just run out of gas and started on the sub tank - I love this ability to have some range compared to the old Pathfinder.
Dargo River Inn was our base camp(not planed).
Sunday out and about, Grant in the AM and we wound our way over to go Up Billy Goat in the PM.
The fog lifted by the time we went up Billy Goat and got to the pinicals ,rolled in as we left PICT1752.JPGPICT1753.JPGPICT1751.JPG

Both times I have been to the pinnacles and down Billy Goats, it has been fogged in although drier this time than the first ( that was bunghole puckering in the old 60 series that I had then )
The general consensus of the participants on our little sojourn is that the Billy Goats track will be factored into the into the South Gippsland Gathering somewhere but it will be only for the experienced I think .
