Angry Tom Tom One what a piece of S%^^&t

Ok i have a Tom Tom one and have just done the trip from Tassie to Melb then Melb to Sydney and then Sydney to Brisbane and my Tom got us lost a few times it just lucky i can read street signs am now heading out to buy a new GPS would love to get a Hema but i think they are still over priced at this stage so might look at the garman and load in Oziexplorer as the Tom Tom and almost got us in to trouble when out on 4x4 tracks not happy with it at all!!!

I have a TomTom One XL and yes I do get wrong direction but I found that happens when the signals a weak or poor. I use a external antenna for it and works much better but still not 100% but I haven't heard any GPS is that. TTMaps can be loaded onto a SD Card and give you offroad and some street navigation also without voice. I have only started to play with it recently.

Yeah, the Hema are expensive, but I have a Tomtom and haven't had too much drama with it. I have done Ballina to Melbourne and it didn't miss a bit. Weird.

oh - I didn't know that - I found the VMS in a GPS Store.... and I think the 1:25000 and 1:12500 topographical maps should be good... is the price range about the same?
