OSM - Uploading Tracks

Hi guys

OSM maps (for Garmin and Magellan) are free to download from a couple of sites (Open Street Map Australia and Worldwide routable Garmin maps from OpenStreetMap) and are pretty good for cities but need more bush tracks and non-metro and country town roads added to it. Uploading your tracks means that the OSM maps become more usable to more people and more worthwhile for yourself to download. Routable maps are available but mainly for the cities.

For other forums (GPS Aust also for Open Street Map) a couple of us developed an OSM Guide for Dummies to show some simple steps on how to upload your GPS tracks into OSM.

I have been playing around with OSM for a little while now. Have found the Potlatch editor very useful for editing maps and am amazed that anyone can edit the maps. You are right it becomes addictive.
I have noticed a few people have been busy adding walking tracks around Adelaide.
Any future track logs I make I plan to add it to OSM.
