Default Navman S80 help

Hey peoples,

i was wondering if anyone knows the format that i need to use to upload tracks of the site to my gps?

I'm pretty sure you can't do much "out of the box".... I have an S150 and you need to run some non standard software like MioPocket with OziExplorer to be able to read/use track and waypoint files, the standard stuff is purely onroad using the maps provided.

Give it a search and you should be able to turn up something....

Also I could be wrong....

Thanks havok ill definately look into that, makes alot of sence as i was unable to find anything in the manuals.

The S80 is on-road maps only. You'll need to unlock it and install OziExplorer (or similiar) and some maps. I unlocked mine and it was quite simple, but fine-tuning it was a bit more tricky. I purchased both a copy of OziExplorerCE and Hema Maps DVD. The cost for an OziCE licence was $40 and the maps were about $180 from memory. You need to convert most of the maps to the correct format, but this is an easy process, it just takes some time.
