Default New Magellan Tritons

Hi,

Has anyone heard of a release date for the Triton GPSs in Australia?

Thanks

I have just spoken to the Australian importer for Magellan and they think that it will be available in the next couple of weeks. They are making their way through customs as we speak. There have been issues in the US with some models coming out with old versions of firmware and missing cables and CDs.

They look cool, I can't want to get my hands on one.

They are going to be pretty pricey. Around $1100 and that is without a maps bundle, so I may wait a little while. I really want to see how they fair in the US and make sure they get over the initial teething problems. It is a little scarey when a company like Magellan is shipping units with the incorrect firmware.
