Good Points
Mavrick- coil suspension good for on and off road, Diesel power, room for family, all the mod con's.
Hilux- Diesel power, vinyl floor= easy to clean, light weight and it's white.
Bad Points
Mavrick- carpet floor and electric windows don't like deep water
Hilux- small diesel=no ball's, soft body panels.
What mods have you done?
Mav- bullbar, pto winch, uhf raido, 4"raised suspension, rear diff packers, 37" tyres on 17" rims, turbo,driving lights and snorkel.
Hilux- bullbar, electric winch, uhf raido, 3"raised suspension, front locka, 35" tyres on 15" rims,diff breathers,driving lights, roof spotlight, snorkel and Mazda 626 seats.
What mods are on the list to do?
Diff locks for the Mav and a turbo for the lux.
Why did you buy this vehicle?
Bought the Mavrick 17 years ago for going bush with the family but recently gave it to my son so I had to get myself somthing to flog in the bush.
How often do you go offroad?
Every chance we get!!
What will your next vehicle be?
I have the new Ford Ranger but too soft for the bush....good for towing!
