Default Nissan Patrol GU 7 2010

Nissan Patrol ST GU 7, 2010

Good Points
Live front and rear axles
Comfortable and relatively quiet on road
Loving the Auto, my Navara was a manual and I was quickly getting over being stuck in start/stop traffic and having to chage gears
Needs no where near as much modification as my D40 Navara did to keep it protected when off road

Bad Points
Going from an IFS vehicle to live axle I've noticed a difference in front end handling on road, but not too bad at all, just requires a bit of adjusting my habbits to suit

What mods have you done?
Have half fitted a dual battery system fitted, but thats it.
Bullbar and Snorkel are on order but couldn't be fitted prior to taking delivery due to the supplier having a backlog of work

What mods are on the list to do?
I have a few things sitting around that I took off my Navara before I traded it, so I will be fitting these when I get a chance.
It's also up for a small lift and some different tyres in the not to distant future.

Why did you buy this vehicle?
The price I negotiated was too good to say no to
I like the look of the Patrol and its one of the few remaining 4WDs on the market with front and rear live axles. Its a very capable vehicle and I wont have to modify it as much as my last 4WD. Im looking forward to no more belly dragging up in the high country
Oh yeah and I mustn't forget this one, it's a Patrol

How often do you go offroad?
Try to get out at least once a month, but work would often get in the way.

What will your next vehicle be?
Hopefully there wont be one for a good while

Nice GU. Heaps of mods out there for it. The IFS to live is a bummer but that is a Patrol at the present time.
