Good Points
Allround the hilux kicks ass on and offroad. My 2000 lux is a 2.7 L and has plenty of grunt for all challenges. I've put the car through its paces and it has never been defeated. The luxury of hilux owners is knowing that you can throw anything at it and it will take it.
Bad Points
The only few bad points to the lux is stiff suspension, noise of the thrust bearing when it heats up.
What mods have you done?
Pod filter (washable), sunnies with bridgestone desert dueler 307 tyres, Uniden 40 ch radio with 477 mhz antenna, huge diamond T checkerplate tool box for recovery gear, Cieb'e spotlights, JVC stereo.
What mods are on the list to do?
A full efs suspension lift kit, Custom 2 1/2 inch tube tray with box, spare wheel and lift with checker plate flooring.
Why did you buy this vehicle?
I bought this vehicle in queensland when I used to live there.
How often do you go offroad?
Any chance I can get!
What will your next vehicle be?
Cant part from a hilux now.
