The 60 looks in good nick there, good 4by.
Rust in the roof is a problem for 60's,,The best way to deal with this is to take out the hood lining and treat it from the inside with plenty of Lanolin, then refit the lining.Bit of a hastle to do but totaly worth it if yu love the old girl.
Cheers Teza.

thanks, you should see her on the inside, looks like it drove outta showroom week ago, air con is freezing too, heater works well, even the one under drivers seat...ill put some pics up today of inside

by the way, rust in roof is a few bubbles, but you cant see them unless you put your head right up and over the gutter, so doesn really worry me...but clean and treat them every now and them to control it

Go the 60. Sounds strange it is using 25L/100KM, sounds like a tune up is required

within last two weeks i have had brand new dizzy(top to bottom), new plugs, new leads, new oil/filter, new petrol filter, exhaust professionaly checked over, carby tuned and checked..

to a full tank(90 litres) i get 350 ks city driving, and 430 freeway... so do the maths

Alot of owners of this model and series(60/62) say the same thing..one guy was only getting 210ks per full tank.

Infact a 6.5 chevy would be my choice but then you might be driving it more just to listen to it
