Hi all,

I have just found and joined this site/forum today. My wife and 2 of our 3 sons have just moved to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland after a 20 year stint in Sydney. Prior to that I was raised on a property in the Coffs Harbour region of NSW.

After starting my four wheel driving on the farm in Dad's old Landrover, I missed it for a number of years before joining the Toyota Landcruiser Club of Sydney. Great club and great people and we got to do a number of trips either north to Stockton Beach, west to the Blue Mountains and a couple on the NSW south coast.

Now that we have moved to sunny(?) Queensland, I am trying to locate a club or group of people who are of similar mind - wanting to get away from the tar but not wanting to break vehicles in the process. I also love to beach fish and Noosa's north shore looks to a regular haunt for me.

Current vehicle - 2003 3.0ltr Nissan Patrol with a decent set of tyres on it along with basic recovery gear. This vehicle also doubles as my daily transport so it is not heavily modified.

Welcome Adam,

see my reply to your question under my earlier post for some info about the like minded people and 4wding.

as I mentioned in my post our Pathy is also our daily driver so I have NO interest in wrecking it but I definitely love to get it dirty .... I am not a member of a club yet but I do like to get away from the flat black stuff .

I would be happy to pm you some details next time we organise a trip if you like ....

I would love to arrange a trip to Kenilworth & camp over night so we could spend more time getting the vehicles muddy and have some fun... I am aiming to arrange this before the end of Feb if you are interested.

Cheers
David

Hi David,

Definately interested in any chance to meet some people and see some different scenery - especially if there is a chance to combine it with one of my other passions (I'm a semi-pro photographer).

Let me know if there is a trip coming up and I'll see how it ties in with other commitments.

Regards
Adam
