Thumbs up Middle Earth (NSW) Meetup 3,4,5 & 6 July 2009 The Location Is Set
Hi All,

A group of members have been and still are working in the background to make this Meetup a huge event.

Feel free to stay as long or as short as you would like. Maybe some of the NSW members would like to do a day trip up and visit. There is no set time on how long people have to stay. A few of us will be arriving on the 1-7-09 (Wednesday) and probably leave the following Tuesday. So come along and have a great time.

The crew from 4x4Earth.com.au have asked that anyone attending the meetup fills in the attached disclaimer form. This isn't to much to ask given how great this event will be.

PM me for my e-mail address if anyone would like to email the completed form back to me.

Camping will be at Ferndale Park. After chatting to a heap of people this looks like it will have everything we are chasing as far as camping requirments go. 4 Legged friends are allowed, people can bring caravans if the wish. Check out the website. Although they do not take booking the owners are willing to set an area aside for us all to camp in. At this stage camping fees are $9 per adult and $7 per child. This may change as we get closer but not by much.

As for touring and a bit of wheeling we are right next to Barrington Tops National Park - 4x4 Earth Australia for 4WD Tracks There is also an option to do a trip to Stockton Beach Stockton Beach, Anna Bay - 4x4 Earth Australia for 4WD Tracks We are still working out day trips etc for the weekend and we have some members from NSW who are helping us out with this Thanks Luxster .

We Will Use UHF CHANNEL 21 For The Event Call Us When You Arrive On Channel 21


We are planning events for the weekend for everyone's abilities and hopefully tastes.

Planned Events.

Stockton Beach Run.
Geocaching Adventure.
Saturday Night Event Group Dinner.
Several trips in Barrington Tops National Park.
Activities for the Kiddies.

There will be registration forms etc to be filled out if you wish to attend this meetup - similar to the O'Tools meetup that was recently held by the Victorians. This at at the wish of the site owners.

Please post up if you would like to attend and I will make the second post in this thread a list of who is attending.

** Please note that all Drivers will need a current drivers license **
