Default Lithgow trip this weekend - all welcome

To anyone thats interested I'll be heading out this weekend to check out some of the trails around the Lithgow area. I'll be following some of the trails in the trail book "4wd treks close to Sydney" that some of you may be aware of.

I've just bought a Patrol and want to see what she's got under the hood and thought since I have this weekend free...why not?

If you're keen to come along, let me know and we'll arrange a spot to meet on the way.

All welcome!

We were up in Lithgow last week on the way home from Middle Earth. If you go out State Mine Gully Rd (i think thats its name) there are heaps of small tracks off through the state forests there. We didn't get much of a chance to explore much as the kids were tired and grumpy by then but it looks like a good spot to play in. And as of last week State Mine Gully rd was massively chopped up and boggy about 5 km out of town so it would be interesting to see if it has been closed or fixed at all coz it looks like a fairly major road out to some of the local tourist attractions in the area too.
