Oh, you might have some companions on this one. We really need to get up to the Cape but might not be for 1-2 years yet.

Just thought we should keep this thread alive ....
I'm really keen on Milsys idea of the 4 or 5 separate treks to one of the Border Corners..
I have some ideas for the QLD based team that could be moulded with the input from our members up here. I guess the dates are probably the next most important things to look at.
Who else is with me on this ?

Last I though someone was going to pick off a date that suited all school holidays if we could.
I undersatnd some people don't care about school holidays but most will care. Finding the meetup point is easy the date will be the big thing.

I reckon, depending on attendees to Kenilworth at the end of the month that it might be a good forum to discuss some kind of route and length of time..

Like Lee, we won't miss it if possible but the sooner we can all agree on dates, the better, we still have to work out a time for a run up the Cape next year with various family members too, and they'll be coming from Perth and maybe Cairns so its going to be a hard couple of trips fot us to co-ordinate...

Middle Earth was the name we gave to NSW as it was in the Middle of NSW & Vic - last year we held the meet up in NSW 'Middle Earth' the name has just flowed on from that meetup. Hope that makes sence.
This one may be a try state meetup or something along those lines.
