Middle Earth 2011
So, where, when and who will this be organised by this year?? We did NSW last year and i think in an earlier poll most were leaning towards SA for this one. I'm just putting it back out there and seeing where we might be interested in now. We have a lot more members since last Middle Earth so some feed back from some newer members as to where they would like it and when would be good.
Heres some links for last years Middle Earth for the newbies:

Hey Gilly -
Ghostpatrol, Grey Ghost, KT and I were only chatting about that during New Years down at O'Tooles. This may not be ideal but i'll throw it out there anyway:
Camerons Corner. Getting Pretty middle earth there. It is central to a lot of short or longer trips: Dingo fence, Strezlecki Desert, Moomba Gas Plant. I know its not the usual hill climbing type four wheel driving but none the less it is a very interesting area and its certainly big enough. It might just need a reccy trip. What do you reckon??

I think the cape may be out of reach for most in the Southern States. Its not the travelling a lone thing its more a time in travel problem. For some like me its a weeks travel up and a week back plus exploring time makes it a tight fit with limited holiday time. I think most people would be in the same boat. So I think a place closer to a central point.

I know it was NSW last year, but I don't think you can beat the NSW High Country. ( or the Victorian High Country for that matter ) That's my 2 cents worth and suggestion.

sounds good for Us. Alpine region is pretty central for NSW, VICs and SA but the nose bleeders up in QLD may get lost on the way south lol
