Default 1995 GQ patrol snorkel install (gas petrol)

Hey guys and gals I'm just about to install a snorkel and have red on this site and others that u can't have the snorkel faceing foward is there a way to fix this problem any help would b apreciated thanks again
p.s is it a hard install ??????

Only took a coulpe of hours to fit the snorkel onto the 80, and have the ram facing forwad with no negative effects so far. The only downside, if you can call it that, is a bit of induction noise, but I've only driven diesel 4wds with snorkels, don't know about petrols though.

Just before you get it, I would check to see if the snorkel is compatable with gas. if so then you need to describe the following.
what brand of snorkel is it,
do you really need it,
are you going to install it, as it can be difficult without the correct tools,
if you can say yes to the above then you may have to turn the top backwards.

yes crooza i need it ive nearly drowned the patrol once and i s*%^ myself so yer it is compatible with gas as the conversion is toataly different to most i have seen and i think i got most of the tools thanks to work lol so im puting one on then thanks guys again for the help
