Exclamation Which Rear View Cameras???

Hi,
Newbie here. I drive a Nissan Patrol.
Had an unfortunate accident with a tree the other week.
Does anyone know of a good rear vision camera?
I found one here, but am unsure of price and specs?

Hey Tom

Can't help you with the camera but am looking at the same thing because of a minor incident with a tree myself.

Will look at what you come up with.

I have rear veiw in mine, i put a separate screen in and a switch so i can have it on or off at any time. Good for checking trailer loads, as your moving, or when i am pulling out a toyota, and want to see how things are going with the snatch strap out back in foward gears.
For fitting with a good camera and screen, prices are around $500 to $700
In the Patrol gu 2004 on, you can fit a screen in the space above the radio if you want it in the dash. You can also get them in with the radio/gps. but i wanted a separate screen.

I have a Camera mounted INSIDE the large rear door next to the top stop light - INSIDE THE ARC OF THE WIPER.
The camera I have has Infa Red for night - USELESS inside the wagon as they reflect on the glass, so I cut the wire to the leds (Easy).

The camera & screen (Mine mounts on the mirror) are on all the time the key is on -It's great when I am setup for touring with a full load in the back.

I also have a reversing beeper & lights - you know the ones that sense the distance to an object. THERE LESS THAN $50 & only need two wires connected either side of the Backing Light.
