More so in Victoria and South Aust
1. Is it legal to have roof driving lights fitted on cars that are operated by your high beam switch
2. Can you have 1 or 3 driving lights on the front of your car or do they have to be fitted in pairs.
3. Can a set of lights protrude past the front of your bull bar.
4. Is it legal to fit driving lights on top of your bull bar.
I have heard so many versions of what is right or wrong and am hoping some one can point me towards the relevant legislation.

Get on to the VicRoads website and follow the links to the VSI's.
What I remember from my readings:-
- You have to fit them in pairs
- You can only have six lights total (e.g. 1 pair headlights, 2 pairs other lights)
- All the mountings have to be within the bullbar but the lights can protrude.
- I remember roof mounting was an issue because of the reflected light off the bonnet was distracting/blinding.
Check the VSI's!
