Question custom snorkel materials and size

G'day all,
haven't been on here for a while cos the 4runner has been off the road getting resprayed and killing the cancer she had,
this thread may have been covered but i haven't found it yet.
i can't use the standard snorkel cos i have the exo cage on her.
anyway, just wondering what material people use when making a custom snorkel's and what size to use? or if they have any pic's of what has been accomplished.
i was thinking about 2'' exhaust with a donaldson (rubber elbow).
i have a 2.0 3y petrol engine with a 32/36 weber on it. i have to work out the airfilter side of things, was thinking about using a commdore panel filter with a custom air box.
any suggestions or comments will be much appreciated.
