Default 100 series cruiser Heaters/LPG Question

Hello all, I'm a newby to the forums but not to my Landcruiser, I've had her about 3 years now and I love my bus.

I have a quick question for others who may happen to have a 98(ish) 100 series 4.5L petrol on LPG.

How are your heaters? Mine are as good as useless, they get just barely warm and that is on a warm day, on a cold day forget it, break out the jumpers. I've flushed them thoroughly but it made no difference.

I was wondering if it could be the way the way the LPG conversion has been plumbed up, there are tee pieces going from each heater hose to the LPG converter, I'm not an expert in fluid dynamics but to me the coolant would be taking the path of least resistance and heading straight through the gas converter and back again mainly bypassing the heater core.
Is there anyone on the forums qualified enough to say whether it would be better if the coolant went via another route, like say LPG unit to heater and then back again. From what I understand the 100 series don't have a heater tap, they're always on and airflow is just governed by a vane inside the heater box assembly.

I'd really like to stop the kids (and missus) nagging on cold days.

that would be the most obvious answer Neeko, Toyotas usually are very good on the heaters and air con, so a problem with not enough heat geting through would be the way it is plumbed, what temp does the temp guage say the motor runs at.

I thought that was the case with the heaters and aircons. I remember my former boss had an 80 series and his heaters were like standing on the middle of the simpson mid summer with a northerly blowing.

Just took my bus for a spin to check the temp gauge position. It sits with the tip of the needle pointing between the two wavy lines on the thermometer logo. Hope this makes sense. It stays here fairly constantly, maybe a mil or so either way depending on temperature of the day or if the aircon is one etc.
