Default Draws and storage

Hi, I lookin to make up draws, custom storage and sub box for my 4by but don't know what material to use. Do I use marine ply, mdf or any suggestions. I goin to cover it in Marine carpet as it's hard wearing. Thanks.

hi mudtiera
we live close to each other you should join us for some off roading
i used an ally frame i bought and fitted together from bunnings then coverd it with 9mm ply to keep it light
then coverd it with marine carpet from bcf blaxland rd
for the draws i used ally C chanell on the frame and box section on the draw for the sliders its works a treat and holds a lot of gear
hope that helps

Here;s some pics of mine,I'm just using ally angle for the slides, With a bit of silican spray on it,works fine for me but I'm told that Teflon is the go for simple slide set up.
These draws are over 8 years now and still as good as.
