The Ferret is a good handy thing. Easy to carry and convenient. Simple to use and once your used to it, reasonably accurate.

Ezy deflator works the same way (removes the valve) but has a hose and guage. Deflates at the same rate.

I have the staun's and ARB deflators. I have set the staun's to 20lb which does well and let down the rest via the ARB. Find it a good combo. The Ferret looks interesting

Good idea as it is better than nothing, but no gauge. He says about 1 psi per second depending on tyre size, so what is it for a larger size tyre, you would have to do alot of practice sessions to get it right, and then if you have just arrived at your 4wd spot, the pressure in your tyres will be higher due to the heat in them so you would infact have the incorrect pressures when you go 4wding. I think you are better off with the ARB one.

I use a spare brass valve cap, has a valve tool in the end of it. Remove valve, when tyre starts to " bag out ", put valve back in. Job done. Too easy. Cost 4 for $2 or 50 c each. Yeh , takes a bit of practice ( in ya garage ) but ya soon get it down to a fine art. ARB cost about $70. I can now air down by eye.
