Default Airbag approved????

I looking to put a bullbar on my 2000 frontera, but for insurance and rego does it need to be airbag approved so the crush rate doesn't get affected???? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

The bull bar needs to be ADR approved for your vehicle. Good suppliers will be able to confirm it
