Sorry Poolman. Am looking forward to doing a trip somewhere with you, and the truck should be on the road then, but I think I might be needing a quiet weekend by the end of the holidays.
If all goes according to plan I will probably doing a trip through the Mallee, Big Desert, and Grampians on the way to and from Geelong. And hopefully also up to Tibooburra and Innaminka.
Never been to Loveday, so would have been interesting.
And although I am itching to get out for a run again, up to Morgan, could be still writing reports next weekend. A chance I might be able to make it. Will give you a PM if I can.
Cheers, Millsy.

Right! I am just round the corner from him at Fremont. The one behind the Aquadome.
I am going to try and get those reports done through the week, re-register and insure the truck on Friday, and cross my fingers on the weeping master cylinder that it does not s..t itself on Sunday before I fix it!
I have been too busy playing with permapine, drills, and saws for the old truck to get a look in. Have spent this weekend building a frame inside the new woodshed to hold 'drying racks' to keep the air flowing through the wood as I stack it 'to the rafters'. Am quite pleased with it. Has worked out really well.
Now that I have got that out of my system I can start thinking about the truck repairs!
Will go and take a photo to show it off!

As it says, Elizabeth East.
Thanks. Hope I can too. Hope the weather's a bit nicer than this weekend!
Only have a small block, but concrete all round the front of house and full length carport up the side, so have packed it all with my old toys and my current ones - two old bond wood caravans, one about 60 years old and one about 50, two 1982 VH Commodores ( one for spares, the other looks like new and run's like new! ), the old MQ Patrol, also 1982, my wife’s 'modern' car with the computer - the VR Commodore, my son's VT with all its 'go fast' gear ( lowered, 'police' F2 suspension, exhaust job, fancy mags, . . . ), three sailing boats ( 2 going and one restored but needs all the stainless steel fittings to be re-fastened - roll on retirement day ) and the 6x4 trailer. Still room for a spare parts MQ outside the front door ( in my dreams! - that would be the last straw for Jenny! ). And there is nothing in the backyard - except the new woodshed! I can feel a couple of boat sheds coming on though!
I used to live on a big block up near Burra, but I have not cut back on all these 'wheels' and boats even though I am now in the big smoke!
Here’s a few pics of the nearly finished woodshed. A few more screws for the roof, and I will gradually add to the drying racks as I need to. Two more layers of wood will fit between the lower level and the logs on top, plus a big space behind that is accessed from the side of the frame down the right hand side at the back. That space will also have five layers of drying racks.
Hopefully see you Sunday.
