Default An idea....

Just an idea for the admin people... is it possible to break up the meetings/trips section into a state based forum... that way if you are looking for a trip in qld, you dont have to go through ALL the trip plans... or if you want to lead/organise a trip you can post it where the most interest would be... ie a Bunyip SP trip in the Victorian section....

just my 2 cents...

that is a good idea when people do it... maybe it could be made a "rule" for the trip section... ie; you must put state / location in thread name... not just day trip xxth of june etc....

Hey guys,

Yeah, I think we should run with everyone posting with State / Location / Date in the title of a forum. As it gets busier we can put in sub forums for each state.

Thanks for the feedback and keep the great ideas coming.

I think sorting the members list by post code and then names would be helpful. That would make it a little eaiser to search for people in your area.

That is a great idea, maybe have the members list where you can sort by state, postcode, vehicle, etc. That would make it a bit easier if you want to organise a day trip for like minded people by vehicle, or by postcode/state.

hhhmmmmm, a day trip for Toyota's, what a great idea!!!!

Maybe also sorting by experience (so novice drivers aren't going out to do the killer tracks) and vehicle capability (so the stocker isn't knee deep in the mud). Listing equipiment could be handy so everybody isn't carry the same items. You could run the vehicle modifications as a points system where the higher points could relate to harder tracks, etc.

Darren

P.S. Do you need a recovery vehicle on that Toyota day?

Maybe have a section for experience and list tracks around that location for the user based on their post code and state. just another idea that i had hopefully it helps. other then that a list of popular tracks around the users area would be great. i live in south east QLD so i can get into north east NSW easy. nice idea with sorting the users by name and postcode aswell Darren that would be a great addition
