Another Idea..

Waypointing... for those of us that are unable to create track logs (not having compatible GPS units etc..) is there a way that we can generate waypoints on a track? most of the tracks that i drive, i could follow on the map and mark intersections / difficult sections of track.

Hey GippsSurfer,

This is something that we have played about a bit with. We have looked at importing KMLs from Google Earth. What we can do is do a bit of an article on how to do it and post it up so those with GPS can also contribute tracks. It is definately better than the single start points that we have for most tracks now.
