Ven. Spent a week there in October. Beautiful beaches , great fishing and some good driving to be had. Just remember to plan your beach driving around the tides. There are some good spots to camp along the beach but if you can't be bothered setting up you can always stay at a cabin at the caravan park on Noosa's north shore. Have fun.

Cliff.

Ven, I completed this track last week whilst on holiday. As per previous reply make sure you check tide times prior to departure. There had been a fair bit of rain prior to attempting the track which produced a few water crossings along the beach but nothing to hairy. We left the beach at Freshwater and found the track to Rainbow beach lots of fun. It's a wonderful spot and worthy of a visit. I'm a newbie at 4X4 and had no worries.................enjoy the drive and the surrounding areas it really is a wonderful place. Lukie

Hi ven
just got back from teewah they will be closing one of the tracks om the 11june for grading Leisha track
but for a good drive take the freshwater track to rainbow but when you hit the tar turn left and keep your eyes open foe two road markers painted red at the base about 4to6 klm down the tar.the track is on the left side and leads you all the way back to the beach stick to the main track till you come to the junction it will tell you beach to your left
check out pics on my report today ( time about three hrs)
