Young's Rock - Neerim
Hi All,
I am hearing things about a track or place called Young's Rock which is around the Neerim area somewhere.
Has anyone heard of this, and if so, can you steer me in the right direction to find it, waypoint, track file, map etc.
Always up for a new challenge.
Thanks

G'day again Davidman, yes, we were up there last weekend. I know my way around that area, we came in from the North from Bunyip & Neerum, past " Young's Tk " turning L onto " Hard Up Haul Tk ", wich is a hard Gnarly Tk. There are also a few other UN-NAMED Tks I know of that I'ld love to check out in the Neerum area.
May be we could team up & a few others interested. I think BLF52 knows some of the harder Tks around Neerum South.
Cheers
Mal

Hey Mate it's at the end of hard up haul near where it meets youngs, dunno if you've done that track before, see below for some pic's. Note a gq on 35's struggles with approach angles.... if you want a tour glad to take you just give me a yell, I'm in a SASed Paj with 35's reduction gears and a front locker

Yep Neerim's got some awesome tracks, but I've heard Warby has got some that will make you weak at the knees.
Yeah it's Shaggs, he was unstoppable on that day, but he still had to winch over Youngs rock

Bunyip has a few that are just as good, Robertsons Creek FireTrail, Bullock Link Track, Rocky Track and a few others in the area. Depends if it's wet or dry as to which ones are worth trying. Also a coupe of good ones around Gentle Annie with rock steps etc
Neerim Sth area has some good ones.....Hell Track would be about the best in my opinion.

Hey PAJ if haven't done much around Warby happy to around there. You'll love it, there're some NASTY Tks up there. Lots of bog holes, Deep Ruts, rocks & some tricky/ technical decents.
