G'day Shiny, you should put up a pic or two of your ride, and let us know the mods etc, camp set-up and
how much 4bying you've done.
No need to be shy around here, some of us are well travelled, some complete newbies, (and even
novices can have great ideas and set-ups!)

Hi Traveller, I've tryed uploading my rig but it dosent show up on the posts, (can anyone help). My Pic and details show up on my profile page though. Anyway... have a 99' GU Patrol. Have most of the goodies ie: Lift, Winch, Snorkel, Dual Batt etc. Would love to hook up with some you guys some time. Live in Hallam, but I'm a Warragul boy at heart. Have had the rig for 7 years so have done a bit including 4x4 Drivers course in the early days. Did 2 laps of OZ with a mate before I settled down with a missus and had 2 kids. Hard to get out these days (may be due to the handbrake...Missus) but trying to make more of an effort. anyway i'm waffling on.
catch you on the tracks.

There will be the four of us coming Bushnut, me, the other half (Ghostpatrol) and the 2 trouble makers, but all in one vehicle, makes no difference to vehicle numbers but makes a hell of a difference to campsite mayhem.....

According to the long range forecasts for the area they are predicting some pretty lousy weather up that way over easter, is that going to change plans at all or just the route on the day?

You aren't seriously listening to the forecasts are you?? They said over 100mm of rain for Dargo area on Sunday night and we got about 10mm absolute max!! And they also said it would be a much worse fire season......

I think the new long range forecast is now for general rain till november, where-ever you are in vic this year . And yeah they did get it right last weekend about some of the heaviest rain we've had for a while apparently. That's why one of my customers didn't go away for the weekend so they could get their new car destroyed by hail.....

It's not the mist, it's the ninjas hiding in the mist that worry me.
