Hey, Matt here. Looking to come along on this trip. Been up that way once before (Craigs' Hut/Mt Sterling) and quite liked the area. Will send in a rego form.

Currently will have no problems making the event, easy to get annual leave off from my part time work. Looking for full time work atm (Grad Mechanical Engineer) that could throw a spanner in the works between now and then. So far the job I'm in the application process for stated there would be no problem in me having time off for it, here's hoping I get it, it's with ARB .

Cheers

After chatting to Simon from 4WD TV it is in the works that we might have a film crew tag along with us for this trip.

Hello Gang!

We will be up on Wednesday night now! Properly around 730ish. Will be setting up in the dark, but will make the beer taste that little bit better.

It'll be daylight saving then so you shouldn't have a problem

Default Pre trip inspections

Leading up to this Bigger than Ben Hur trip wouldn't you like the peice of mind that your vehicle is up to scratch & reliable to hit the tracks. At Gippsland offroad we are offering to our Earth members a pre trip inspection for $88 including GST (normally $110), we will go over all your suspension, steering & brakes (along with the rest of the running gear) Give us a call sooner rather than later to make sure you can book in in time, feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

Geez Bainsy that's a tough one

May have to ask knackers to get his abacus out.

but unlike grumpy and I you aren't ageing that gracefully

marry that poor girl before she finds someone younger

can I put you down for a big announcement then ???

Rego Form Sent.

Really looking forward to this one guys.

Slowly been repairing the 4wd.

I Would like to publicly thank, Ian (Grumpy) and Debbie, for the help with collecting and loading the complete front cut suspension and diff assembly with me & my olds onto the trailer from Altona a few weeks ago, two days after I got out of hospital - won't tell my cardiologist about that road trip though.

Had a bit of a scare with an infection that spread to the heart sack (Pericardits) and has now shown damage to my heart muscle on the last echo.

But will keep slowly trooping on and fixing the surf ready for this trip.

The surf currently has no front end installed

The new front diff needed new bearings upon inspection, so is getting dropped into ARB on friday to get an Airlocker installed and the bearings replaced at the same time seemed like a good excuse to spend my savings.

Just installed the manual hubs and CV's though with new boots, onto the hubs, so she will be ready for the diff to get back.

And a rear locker may be happening before the trip as well.

Can't wait to see you all again and to see blue rag track with the BEK's on the way in as well.
