From memory I paid around $440ish for a 315/75 R16 for the KM2's, the MTZs were around $380ish for a 315/75 R16.

the goodyears MTR's are about the most expensive rubber you can buy.
a good tyre tho, had a set and are just great on every surface.
got MTZ's now and really can't complain about them
i give these things absolute shit offroad and not missing any massive chips of rubber like other people been saying.
they are a great "all terrein" tyre that perform very well in almost any condition.
sure you can get tyres that perform a lot better in the mud but suffer on other bits..
i'd buy them again... but would not say no to a set of trepadors to give them a good workout.
the bighorns did very well in the 4wd action test but don't believe everything they write as the one manufacturer that pays the most gets the best write up, according to them the bighorns where better than the MTZ's....????? very much disagree on that cuote!

I got the MTZ for a while now... and I can say I'd buy hem again...
they are great tyres on the most applications and so far never let me down...
the difference in traction against my old all terrains is massive and they made my pajero go like I didn't even think she would go...
I think MT has it well sorted but it's a bit like food - or girls...
every man has a different taste ;o)
oh I forgot - no chipping so far and I got 30000 on them and heaps left -- look after your tyre pressure and you will be fine with the most of the brands...

cheers
Tom
