Default Tyres

What tyres??? Im currently on yolkahama g12's all terrain ... and i like them.. We got over 50,000 kms out of them.... And we feel safe on them , but its time for some new ones and i was wondering if anyone had some other suggestions

If your happy with that tyre, why change, unless you plan on doing more dirt stuff and need to change them because of that, then you are going to open up a can of worms, maybe you should change your question to what tyre should I avoid.

Thanks crooza .... We are happy with the tyres ..... But as far as 4x4 tyres im like a kid in a candy store , so many to choose from and i dont know enough about them....
So ill rephrase ... What tyres should i stay away from and are yolkahama on that list??
ohh and does it matter really on a hyundai terracan....??

Mostly is on road ... the usual school and shops trips ... but i try to get it off road every fourtnight ,even if i just play in the paddock for a bit after the rain....

i just changed a set of toyo OPAT's on a mates hilux he got 90k out of them and they still had a tiny bit of meat on them and he loves them the yoko are good aswell but dont seem to get the same millage but both would be a good choice

You really can't go wrong with the big band name tyres if your just using them for on road, if you want to play with them then you could go to an all terrain tyre, but just remember the more off road the tyre the more it will cost and wear. You could go BFG, Maxxis, Cooper, etc if you go all terrain, if your not going to get an all terrain then go the usual brands like Bridgestone, Dunlop, ect.

Thanks for your reply's ....... As you can imagine tyres are an important decision .... If you get it wrong you could be stuck with your choice for 2 years ....... So thank you for your input .... Also keep an eye on my photos ill be doing stockton beach in September .....
