My 4.8 (2002) has 16" rims & Coxy's has 17" rims (2005), your right there Yobbo.

Cause they changed from the stock GUIII alloys (16") to the GUIV 17s across all ST/Ti Variants in late 04.

There have been no changes to the brakes on the 4.8 from launch as far as I am aware.

I've reasearched and just like others have mentioned, 15inch rims will fit all GU's other than the 4.8 GU's, as they have a bigger brake diametre.

Even though its a GUIV it still has the same brake size as the GU III's I'd believe
