2011-02-13 Condamine River CrossingsMitsubishi Challenger The track is rough and the creek crossings are challenging as there have large rocks through them now after the heavy rains. This is not a soft road track any more as a Rav4 cracked its fuel tank open in the second creek crossing. It has presently many deep river crossings and vehicles without snorkels should use protection. Some of the road road is blocked but there are some new tracks around the blockage. Need to take care in the river as there are deep holes and sharp drop offs

2009-12-20 Geehi Camping Area via Maj Clews Hut and back to Alpine WayToyota Prado Did a short trip over the river to first hut on the western side and the track condition was fair, no big issues with ground clearance. The river crossing was shallow and easy to cross but worth a walk over and check next time. Camping areas were every where and will look at coming back there in the future for a camping holiday.
2009-12-20 Tom Grogan to Davies Plains Hut.Toyota Prado Didn't get too the hut but the track condition was rough and many trees had fallen over it. The Prado had no issue in the river crossing but walked it first to get the line right. A curved route through the 1st river crossing running close to the rapids was the best. With a full touring weight it wasn't the best track to run on. If I had a trailer/camper would have been a breeze but carrying everything either on the roof or in the back just made the track that little harder than it was.
