Maiden Gully - Rocky Rises Trails
About the Track
Track Description

Track starts off as Bitumen road, turns into dirt road which is fairly flat with large 200mm deep mud puddles. Comes to a T intersection. Take a left, fairly easy track to start with with a few deep ditches and puddles. Lots of options and many tracks to take. Some would probably qualify as difficult where as other can be done all in raised vehicle using only 2wd.

When it comes to choosing which direction to take when approaching intersections, the option that looks the hardest usually is. Some of the harder tracks include creek crossings which we\'re approximately 400-500mm deep after heavy rain but no more than 8-10m across. A few steep inclines, and a fair number of sharp hair pin turns with ditches half way around so take it easy when turning sharp.

Lots of nice spots to stop. Several LARGE dams with fish (Have caught Redfin and Carp) and lots of flat spots to camp and chillout.

Overall a good place to beat around the bush, only 15 mins from Bendigo\'s CBD. Good way to spend anywhere from half an hour to a full day driving around.
